Pretty sure I’ve watched all the recordings of the 2023/24 EU/US tours foundable on UA-cam. One thing I noticed is that the tracks that stay in the setlists (Birthing, The Beggar, The Hanging Man…) are played way faster and more up tempo as the band does more and more dates. For example, if you watch a Hanging Man performance from an autumn 23 date, and then one from a spring 24 date, you notice the groove is way for feral and aggressive. That’s something I love with Swans; if you attend two concerts with the exact same set list, you’ll still get two completely different experiences, I can’t wait for the live album from those tours Kuddos for recording this!
